"My grandfather Isaac Jacobi was born and died in Grünstadt. He was the son of Bernhard Jacobi and Sara Belmont. He had 4 brothers - Ludwig Friedrich called Louis, Julius, Joseph, Maximiliano (Max), and 2 sisters - Pauline (Paula) and Amalia (Malchen). Isaac spent some years in America but was called home when his father died. He became a well-known manufacturer of china and stoneware. He is buried in Grünstadt."
